　１１年暮らしたカリフォルニアからノースハワイ島に住みかえ７年、しばらくのあいだカリフォルニアベースとして、アートとサーフカルチャーを勉強します。

波に触れて、啓発を求め、祈るように生きている毎日。
私は波乗り殉教者で、肩書きはプロサーファー、写真家、画家、ルポライター、デザイナー。

波、いや海に対する欲求と、探求心は飽くことがないようで、小さい頃からの夢であった海を旅し、さまざまなアウトプットを続けている。

波を知ることは海を知ること。
その深遠無限のインスピレーションを感じたことをこのブログで綴れたら、そして海に散らばった「幸せ」をお伝えすべく、ここで日々書いています。

こんな漢詩を得たのでここに。

月落波啼海満天

加州黄昏対愁眠

聖地夢内安板家

夜半雷聲到我心

意味は、

月が落ち、海音の中に波の音が、
カリフォルニアの、黄昏のような愁いのある睡りにつく。
このとき稲妻が、
サンクレメンテのアジトにやってきた。

カリフォルニア、
サンクレメンテ市でそんな感覚で新しくも旧き日々を生きていることを記したこのブログですが、
2012年の5月1日に7周年を迎えます。
一日も休まずに書き続けました。

文字も膨大で、
字数カウントすると、600万字強の言葉が詰まっていました。
大変な量でありますが、お時間のありますときにバックナンバーもお読みいただければうれしいです。

波乗りの奥深さと、それぞれの感覚を文章、写真でしっかりと本気で表現していきます。

11 years in California to 7 years on the North Hawaii, and now back in California to study the art and culture of surfing.
I live praying everyday to be in the ocean, to find enlightenment.
I have dedicated my life to the art of surfing, working as a pro sufer, photographer, artist, writer and designer.
I continuously have a fresh desire and curiosity for not only waves but also the ocean itself, fulfilling my childhood dream of traveling the world to see what the ocean has to offer. I continue to create many things from the inspiration I have received through my journey.
Understanding the waves is understanding the Ocean.
I sit here writing this blog everyday to deliver the various forms of happiness found in the ocean, and to display the ever-expanding inspiration that the ocean has to offer.

A Chinese poem I found to inspire:

月落波啼海満天

加州黄昏対愁眠

聖地夢内安板家

夜半雷聲到我心

It means,
The moon sets, sounds of waves can be found within the sounds of the ocean
California sleeps in the twilight of sorrows
In this moment a lightning strikes
In my home of San Clemente

With the feeling of this poem in my heart, with feelings of both old and new, I deliver you this blog from San Clemente, California.
I have written this blog without a day of rest. May 1st of this year will be the 7th anniversary of this blog.
The words written are countless.
Word count shows that over 600,000 words have been written into this blog.
It’s a lot of words but I hope you can find the time to read this blog and its archives.
I will continue to deliver the depth of the art of surfing with all my heart using my words and photos as the tools of communication.
I also operate NAKISURF.com, my online surf shop out of San Clemente California.
With the people I have met through out the years, through the connections I have developed over the years, I plan on offering the best surfboards and products, so we can continue to aspire to be one of the greatest online surf shops of the world.
